Come visit us …
To decide if Murphy’s Pad is the right daycare for you we would love to meet you and your dog. You can visit the garden and see the facilities, meet Murphy, Harry and myself to ensure you feel totally comfortable leaving your dog with us.
We meet and assess all dogs before agreeing to care for them, to ensure it works for everyone. To that end we do have a few ‘rules’:
Registration form to be completed prior to any booking
Socialised dogs only
No banned breeds allowed
Vaccinations up to date, including worm and flea treatment
Neutered dogs only
What to expect…
Your dog will have the run of the garden with Murphy and Harry. We have a large lawn for playing, a sandpit and a ball pit for enriched activity. We have established trees and shrubs for the dogs to investigate and play around.
The garden is totally secure with double sets of gates to ensure no direct exit onto the street.
We will use the garden and summerhouse on warmer days to play and rest too. In the colder weather the dogs will have access to the kitchen with central heating and plenty of bedding for resting .
We are a small owner operated business and as such we look after a maximum of 10 dogs per day. So you know your dogs will only be socialising with Murphy, Harry and up to 7 other dogs on any given day.
Dogs are social animals and love to interact and play with each other and humans. At Murphy’s Pad we provide a relaxed home from home daycare experience.

Daycare can be fantastic for your dog, giving them a safe space to play with other dogs. The varied activities will keep them mentally and physically stimulated. You will need to consider your dogs age, personality and any behavioural or health issues.

You will get to meet Murphy, Harry and me. We will use the time to get to know your dog and understand how they will interact with others, as it is very important for us to assess their suitability for daycare.
